The swim number should be placed on the outer part of your upper RIGHT arm.

Yes. It is part of our water safety plan that swim caps are worn to identify swimmers in the different distances.

Yes, age restrictions apply and are dependent on the distance you choose. They are: 500m: Must be a minimum of 9 years old on day of the event 1.25km: Must be a minimum of 11 years old on the day of the event 2.5km: Must be a minimum of 12 years old on the day of the event

Yes. Teams of 10 will receive a $65 food and beverage voucher to redeem at either The Indian Ocean Brewining Co., The Boat or the Cabana Pool Bar & BBQ. For each additional 10 participants, the team will receive a further $65 voucher!

This is in ADDITION to individual voucher incentives applicable to all swimmers.

Online Registrations close at midnight on Saturday 23rd March. Participants will also be able to register on the day, a late fee of $5 per participants will apply.

Yes, participants can register and participate on the day. A $5 late fee per participant will apply. Registrations will close 15mins prior to the start of each distance category start time.

Registration changes can be made prior to the close of entries on Saturday 23rd March. A processing fee may apply.

Yes, the event will be timed by BlueChip Timing

Results will be available in live time via a link from the website

There are no restrictions on swim suits. Wetsuits may be worn. We do not recommend wearing any items of jewellery. If you do wear jewellery or fitness watches it will be at your own risk and the Event will not take any responsibility for those items being lost or damaged.

Your entry fee covers the costs of a professionally organised and timed event, including safety provisions. infrastructure, operational services and event activities.

Your entry will also entitle you to a a voucher to redeem on food and beverages at either the Indian Ocean Brewing Co., The Boat or the Cabana Pool Bar & BBQ. See event pages for further details.

You will also receive a bottle of water at the finish line.

We recommend arriving no later than 30mins before your designated Start Time. Check in closes 10mins prior to the swim start time.

Ample parking can be found at Marina Mindarie Parking is also available at the Quinns Mindarie Surf Club for participants in the Club to Pub, however we recommend being dropped at the start line

Due to the protected nature of the Classic and Splash and Dash, we do not expect these distances to be cancelled. Should ocean conditions warrant the cancellation of the Club to Pub, participants will be notified and offered the opportunity to participate in separate Wave Starts for the 1.25km option.

Open Water Swimming standards will be applied to weather and sea conditions for the 2.5km swim, with event cancellation occurring in line with these standards.

No refunds will be offered under any circumstances

Paddlers are not permitted for this event. The event Water Safety Plan has provisions for a number of Stand Up Paddlers to support the safety of participants.

There is no bag drop service for The Marina Swim. The car park is located directly adjacent to the finish precinct, so accessing items stored in your vehicle is very simple. The event hosts the most wonderful spectator area, we suggest that your valuables can be left with your support team while your swim is taking place. Organisers take no responsibility for the storage of your personal items.

On water safety will be provided for all events, with further safety personnel located at various jetty exit points around the courses. This includes a number of Stand Up Paddlers and powered craft that will supervise swimmers over the course/s

The Marina will be closed to boats throughout the event, making this a very unique swimming experience for all involved.
